Discover Belize

Belize is a kaleidoscope of beautiful sites and sounds for all to behold. From the magnificent Belize Barrier Reef that quenches the shores, to the mysterious evergreen forests of ancient Mayan civilizations, Belize is truly a nature lover’s paradise.

The Belize Barrier Reef offers a plethora of exciting marine adventures and excursions and is the main catalyst behind the rise in the number of adventure-seekers to coming Belize. Another main attraction of Belize is the quest for discovery in largely uncharted forest and jungles that the country is home to. With an extremely diverse array of fauna and flora and an intriguing landscape of various geographic ecosystems, Belize is a paradise for exploration.

Perfection isn’t an illusion.

IT’S A DESTINATION.

Why Belize?

Climate and Healthy Lifestyle

One of the nicest things about Belize is the climate. With an average yearly temperature of 84° F (29°C), it’s always warm. The coastal sea breezes and rainforests keep it cool, even in the hottest summer months. In short, the climate is pretty much close to perfect.
Add to that the abundance of organic produce, locally caught seafood, and a relaxed pace of life that moves at languid Caribbean rhythms, and it’s easy to see why so many expats report enjoying a new lease on life after moving to Belize.

Attractive Residency Requirements

The country’s QRP program allows qualifying individuals age 45 years or older and their families to easily establish residency in the country while imposing just a 30-day minimum stay per year. Plus, the QRP program allows participants to import all of their personal goods duty-free, including cars, boats, and light aircraft.

The Beauty

Simply put, Belize looks like an Instagram post come to life. With hundreds of offshore islands, a long Caribbean coastline, and a mainland that is over 50% lush rainforest or jungle, Belize is truly a natural paradise. Belize has the lowest population density of any country in Central America, and over one-third of its territory is set aside as a protected wilderness, animal refuge, or national park.

Asset Protection

A former British colony, Belize is a strong haven for individuals wanting to protect their hard-earned assets. Non-citizens can establish offshore companies in Belize as well as trusts that are permitted by law to own and manage real estate.

Cost of Living

While imported food items are often more expensive than in the United States or Canada, the other costs of living in Belize are much lower. Travel, food, internet access, and housekeeping are much cheaper than comparable locations in the United States.

The People

World-renowned for their friendliness and hospitality, the people of Belize make everyone feel right at home. And because English is the official language, there is no barrier when it comes to communicating.
